Mammography coding would seem to be straightforward. The number of codes from which to choose is relatively small and clearly defined, and the reimbursement rules haven’t undergone significant change in recent years. Even so, there are patterns of errors among providers of mammography services, and to reduce denials, those errors are highlighted here.
