Advance for Health Information Professionals: “Online Search Tips for Coding Information You Need”

The Internet contains a plethora of accessible coding resources and this information overload can quickly take over, leaving coders frustrated. Not knowing whether the collected information is truly current and reliable is another source for contention. Knowing where to look is essential and will keep Web surfing to a minimum so you can get back to what’s important–coding. But with so many places on the Internet to search for information, it’s hard to locate the most pertinent information. This article gives tips on where to begin, along with some recommended Web sites for searching.

    Nice article. Just wanted to add 2 cents to the bookmark, saving of websites, search engines, etc. One way of saving I have found handy to me is to name my saved favorite in a manner that I will best remember it. In addition, periodically alphabetizing my favorites helps me find my saved faves.
