HCR: Labs May Bill TC for Path Services

Eligible independent clinical diagnostic laboratories may continue to bill the technical component (TC) of physician pathology services provided in an inpatient or outpatient hospital setting.
This Medicare policy is in effect Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, in accordance with the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
Change Request (CR) 6813 confirms this Medicare policy update.
