Celebrate National Radiologic Technology Week

Friday, October 31st, 2008

Have you thanked your radiologic technologists (RT) today? It’s not too late to join the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Nov. 2-8 in their 29th annual National Radiologic Technology Week (NRTW) celebration.

The NRTW celebration commemorates the anniversary of the X-ray’s discovery by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on Nov. 8, 1895 and calls attention to the valuable work of RTs in the health care field. This year’s NRTW theme: “Every Picture Tells a Story.”

To recognize the vital work of your RTs, the ASRT recommends organizing activities that bring prestige, credibility, and value to the profession. Go to the ASRT Web site for more information and for ideas on how to celebrate NRTW.
